Project Scope
Since 2019, APEX has provided mineral exploration support in the form of drill rig supervision, lithological logging and data management for Rumble Resources at their Western Queen Project in Western Australia.
The Western Queen deposit is located within the Wardawarra Greenstone Belt and consists of high-grade, shear-hosted gold. It lies approximately 110km northwest of the town of Mt Magnet. The two previously mined pits have a combined historical production of 880,000t @ 7.6g/t Au for 215,000oz.
In 2019 and 2020, APEX was contracted by Rumble Resources to conduct brownfield exploration and deposit delineation aircore, reverse circulation and diamond drilling. An independent updated mineral resource was subsequently completed in August 2021, which produced a 35% increase in the total resource from the previous estimate. The combined indicated and inferred resource is 2.1Mt @ 2.42g/t Au for a total of 163,268oz.
