Alix received her MASc in Mining Engineering from the University of British Columbia in 2020. Alix's master's research focused on mineral prospectivity models using machine learning algorithms and scarce training datasets. Her skillset ranges from doing fieldwork and working on greenfield to pre-feasibility drilling program, to database management, data analysis and geological modelling. She has experience with porphyry and high sulfidation epithermal deposits from the Canadian Cordillera. She speaks three languages and has worked in Canada, Chile, French Guyana, and New Zealand.
