Christian Bohm PhD, P.Geo.
Project Geologist
Christian is a Professional Geoscientist (P.Geo.) with over 25 years of experience focused on Precambrian geology and public geoscience. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology from ETH Zurich, Switzerland, adjunct professorship at the University of Manitoba, and is registered with Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (EGM) and l'Ordre des Géologues du Québec (OGQ).
Christian’s academic background is in structural geology, geochemistry and geochronology. He held a post-doctoral research and teaching position at the University of Alberta 1996-2002, and subsequently worked for the Manitoba Geological Survey 2002-2023, amounting to over 25 years of geoscience technical project and 15 years of management and leadership experience. In addition to his broad technical geoscience skills, he has extensive advisory experience in applying geoscience to land-use planning and sustainable resource development projects involving multiple stakeholders.
Since joining APEX in 2023, Christian has mostly worked on lithium pegmatite projects in Quebec and Ontario and has conducted project generation work in Manitoba.
