Jason Hinde MSc, G.I.T.

Geologist

Jason is a geologist with a passion for utilizing field work, geochemistry, and data analysis to unlock the full potential of precious metal mineral deposits. He completed his Honours BSc (Geology Specialist - University of Toronto) and MSc (University of Alberta) with a joint research focus on the mechanisms that concentrate precious metals in different reservoirs of the Earth- from the mantle to the crust. He is a registered G.I.T. with the Professional Geoscientists Ontario.

He supplemented his research with field-based positions at provincial surveys (the Alberta and Ontario Geological Surveys) and junior exploration companies. Jason completed an internship with APEX in 2021 and joined APEX fulltime in 2022. As a junior geologist with APEX, he continues to apply a combination of field observation and geochemical data analysis to better define complex precious metal deposits in remote areas of North America.
