Kevin Hon BSc, P.Geo.

Senior Geologist & Geostatistician

Mr. Hon, a registered Professional Geologist with APEGA, holds a B.Sc. from the University of Alberta and has over a decade of experience in hard rock consulting across Canada, USA, and Australia. Mr. Hon joined APEX in 2009 focusing on field exploration over a wide variety of locations before moving to the resource team to conduct resource estimation and geological modelling spanning a diverse range of deposit types. He is experienced in project management, exploration techniques, target generation, modelling resource estimation, and technical reporting. Mr. Hon has produced many resource estimations and geological models for internal use and public disclosure. Mr. Hon’s exploration background has provided him a better understanding of geological processes and data collection to provide high quality technical services.

Recently, Kevin has been involved in planning, executing, and evaluating drill programs at Calibre Mining Corp.’s Gold Rock and Pan projects. Kevin has been involved in planning and executing over 150,000 m of drilling at both projects. Kevin has been involved in updating the geological model and creating 3D models for visualization and resource estimation purposes. Through this work, Gold Rock has moved into the Feasibility stage, and mine life at Pan has been extended.
