Mark Hanki BSc, P.Geo.
Senior Geophysicist
Mark worked with APEX as a summer student in 2006 and joined APEX full-time after receiving his BSc (Specialization Geophysics) from the University of Alberta in 2010. Mark became a Professional Geoscientist under APEGA in 2017. Mark’s technical experience includes over 15 years in the mineral exploration industry, specializing in geophysical data collected using electrical, electromagnetic, remote sensing, magnetic, and radiometric techniques.
Currently, Mark manages APEX’s geophysics team and liases with clients to design geophysical surveys tailored to the needs of each project. He is involved in geophysical survey planning and management, the acquisition and QA/QC of ground geophysical survey data, and the processing and interpretation of geophysical data sets. He has worked with and interpreted geophysical survey data collected over targets in various countries, including Australia, Canada, Equatorial Guinea, Uganda and the USA.
